Site update - 2 July 2008

Most of the work is being done on the foundation now. The first concrete was poured yesterday.
They still have to put in insulation and the plumbing, and the another 9 inches of concrete..

Anyhow - here's the garage - up another little bit :

So here's the foundation so far. You can see the porch at the front (the bit sticking out):

Here's the sitting room foundation. It's to the right of the house and will only be 1 storey high:

The lorries that delivered the concrete made a complete mess of my parent's (and our future) driveway. The's a LOT of crap on the road, and this is after my dad swept it put 6 tankers of water on it:

Here's another view of the mucky driveway. It actually doesn't look too bad in the photos, but trust me - it's pretty mucky !
